Out of Voting Choices?

I think I need to get a higher profile.

On a lot of the blogs I visit (admittedly, they are mostly conservative in nature, or more accurately non-liberal) the general consensus seems to be that we need a leader of this country with the mantra America First.

Like me.

A leader who won't let illegal immigrants of any stripe "work" their way towards citizenship.

Like me.

A leader who will make sure that the interests of the United States are first and foremost when any kind of discussions are held.

Like me.

A leader who cannot be connected to any Big industry due to not having a controlling interest in any of the Big industries.

Like me.

A leader who understands what the working man is going through from the perspective of the working man, and not the working man's boss.

Like me.

A leader with the backbone to do the right thing, and let the people assigned to doing the parts of the right thing actually do what they are trained to do, whether it is foreign policy or commanding troops on the ground.

Like me.

I believe that a leader should be like a good boss – put the people who work for you in the position they can best perform, and then get out of their way and let them do their job. Throwing money at a problem does no good at all, unless the money is allowed to perform as trained. Telling your investors you are going to do one thing and then not letting your money be invested as it should is a waste of money. Advertising something and then not honoring the advertisement is not good business.

Standing up for what you believe in is paramount when it comes to leading a country. Let the people of that country know what you believe in, show them that you stand up for that belief, and you will have the backing of that people.

I'm running a no-cost write-in campaign. I am not soliciting donations, I am not asking people to advertise for me. I am asking to help me spread the word that there is someone who can be written in for President who will not be a career politician, and will keep We The People as the primary focus.

Please, write in Cary Cartter for President in 2008. The career politicians need to know that the United States is tired of not being listened to.

Slight update - since I am a "write-in" candidate, I don't need to formally file to appear on the ballots in each state. So, I won't be doing that. Did I mention how much I love filling out government forms?

Thank you for stopping by, God bless you all, Wear Red on Fridays, and write inr Cary Cartter for President in 2008!

Like the old wine cooler commercial - "Thank you for your support" - only, I mean it.

If you become President, can you do something about P.C.B.S.? Like ban it? :)

I can't ban it, but we can sure hold it up to the light of day and show how foolish it really is!

As a US Marine who served 4 years and spent time in Iraq, it is truly great to hear a man standing up for the right things. If I can do anything to help, please let me know.

Brad, thank you for your service. It's because of people like you that this country is as strong as it is.

As far as what you can do to help, I can only ask you to do the same thing I am asking everyone else - get my name out there as a viable candidate.

Write-in Cary Cartter for President in 2008.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Both myself, and my fiance Kate, whose website you have listed in the link on the side are strong supporters. We will do what we can to get your name out there.

That's terrific, Brad!

All I can ask is for people to know about me. I appreciate Kate putting the banner up; and thanks to you both for helping out.

Hi, Tisha!

From this post on, I've pretty much outlined my position.

If there is a specific question you have for me, let me know - I'll include it in a future post.

Thanks for stopping by!
