Happy Veteran's Day
Last night, TMBWitW, MEG, and I were privileged to join a fellow blogger for dinner. Greybeard was in town with his lovely wife (Sara Jean) on their way home from vacation in Hawaii. Their son, Big Bubba, lives in Mesa, and the opportunity to put faces and voices to words was taken.
Greybeard blogs anonymously. Wouldn't want to spoil the surprise.I got a note from a Marine veteran of the second world war; I am waiting to hear from him as to whether I can share it with all of you. Believe me, it is well worth the wait.

Thanks Cary for posting this one, rather than the other. I don't think the unprepared public could have taken it!
It was pretty much as I figured it would be...
Great company, good food, good fellowship. It was too bad we didn't have more time to spend together. We'll try to rectify that our next time out, and I hope that is soon!
